Jomar, Khris, Nilda, and Carl met on Saturday morning, 13.09.28 at 161 Portage Avenue East to review and revise the year plan for the year. Granted, this review could have happened earlier, but there was a lot of good stuff that came out of it. Here’s a few notes:
– We talked about changing the name of the DCRA to better reflect our neighbourhood. Whenever we tell people the “where of the DCRA, we are often met with: (╯°_°）╯… we need to change this.
– There were a bunch of tasks that were noted as ONGOING, but how do we ensure that we are doing it? We know that a lot of our ongoing tasks are getting done, so we decided to create metrics to ensure that our tasks were accounted for at every meeting. A new section was made for that.
– Our “Downtown Liveability” section was very ambitious when we decided to embark on it at the beginning of the year. Given the misalignment of the priority to the DCRA’s mission and the already limited resources available to our board, we decided to annex this section to the “Wishlist” portion of this document.
– We completed our Financial Sustainability section for our plan. Way to go Leslie!
