DOWNTOWN NEIGHBOURHOOD ASSOCIATION

Update: Complete Communities / Zoning Alignment Open House

A few of our Directors and members were able to make it out to the Complete Communities and Zoning Alignment Open House that was held this week on Wednesday, May 15th at the Forks Market from 3pm to 7pm.  For more information on the event, you can read the previous post on the event.

The event was well attended by students, city planners, residents, and other supporters to the recent proposed changes to these portions of the OurWinnipeg plan.  Residents were invited to peruse each proposed change that was displayed in the open house via poster boards per each issue.  Post-its were available throughout the open house to comment and make suggestions on each of the proposed issues.

For more information on the proposed changes, and to leave your own comments, you can follow this link to the Zoning Alignment page on SpeakUpWinnipeg.com

WINNIPEG’S DNA:

is composed of residents who live in the areas between the Assiniboine River, Memorial Boulevard, Portage Avenue, and the Forks (South Portage, Legislature, and Broadway / Assiniboine communities).

We're building a stronger community, working together, and raising a voice for the Downtown!
