445427335_3a760da6e2In the early 1900s, suffragettes were discouraged from holding political gatherings whenever possible.  As a result, Pink Teas were organized as a pretty ruse that concealed important politics behind the frivolous appearance of pink doilies and frills.  In celebration of International Women’s Day, drop in at the Dalnavert Museum for a social evening of cupcakes, camaraderie, crafts, and of course, pink tea.
