Student Projects for Downtown Neighbourhood

Landscape + Urbanism students from the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Architecture are designing proposals for a downtown neighbourhood in Winnipeg. They will be working in RAW Gallery, 290 McDermot Avenue on a model of Downtown during the week of February 11, 2013, and invite you to come and talk with them about your ideas.  Guest designers from universities across the continent will also be working with the students.

Please drop by in one of the following times:

  • Tuesday February 12, 9:30-11:30am.  Guest designer: Mayhar Arefi, University of Cincinnati
  • Wednesday February 13, 9:30-11:30am. Guest designer: Ming-Chun Lee, University of Texas, Austin
  • Thursday February 14, 9:30-11:30am. Guest designer: Lawrence Bird, Winnipeg
  • Thursday February 14, 2:30-4:30pm. Guest designer: Nabil Kamel, Arizona State University.
