Grocery Services Leave the Downtown

Hello Neighbours,

So you may have heard this week’s highlight news on grocery services leaving our downtown.  This is a growing concern as many of the residents in our neighbourhood rely on these services being accessible by foot–I sure do… I don’t own a car because I live in this part of town.

I still get to shop at the Forks Market and at IGA on Donald, but a lot of people live closer to the soon to close Zellers grocery.  Those who rely on that store shouldn’t be made to go out of their way or means to sustain themselves.

Read below and share your thoughts.  This is the kind of thing our residents should voice their concerns around…
